Your Guide to Sea.Hear.Now Weekend in Asbury Park

Sea.Hear.Now returns to the Asbury Park waterfront September 19–20, bringing two days of music, surfing, art and plenty of activity to the beach and boardwalk. The 2026 festival is officially sold out, so if you already have your wristband, consider this your quick guide to getting there, getting around and making the most of the weekend.

Festival gates open at 12 PM each day, with music and festivities continuing through 10:30 PM. Sea.Hear.Now takes place across North Beach, Bradley Park and Atlantic Park, with more than 25 bands performing across three stages—two on the sand and one in the park—along with the festival’s signature surf competition and art programming.

Festival Entrances

There are two festival entrances, so knowing where you’re headed before you hit the waterfront can save some wandering:

7th Avenue & Kingsley Street

4th Avenue & Ocean Avenue

The festival grounds are centered around 1300 Ocean Avenue, spanning North Beach, Bradley Park and Atlantic Park.

For anyone arriving by rideshare, the designated pickup and drop-off area is on the 100 block of Fourth Avenue, between Ocean Avenue and Kingsley Street. Bike parking is available at 7th and Ocean and in the 2nd and Ocean parking lot across from The Stone Pony.

Road Closures

Festival weekend means some changes to the usual flow around the waterfront. If you’re driving into Asbury Park—or just trying to get around town—check the road closure map before heading out.

Some public parking near the festival grounds will also be unavailable because of the closures. Metered parking remains available elsewhere around the festival area, but with a sold-out crowd heading into town, planning ahead is a good move.

The Boardwalk is Still Open

Here’s one thing worth knowing even if you’re not spending the entire weekend inside the festival: Asbury Park’s boardwalk businesses are open.

Whether you’re grabbing something before heading through the gates, taking a break from the action or just spending the weekend in town, a few boardwalk favorites include:

Pucker Lemonades & Beach Fries

Fresh-squeezed lemonade, beach fries and exactly the sort of food that makes sense when you’ve been outside all day. Pucker is located at 1150 Ocean Avenue North, near the Fourth Avenue area of the boardwalk.

Tony’s Sausage

A longtime family business with roots going back to 1946, Tony’s serves its sausage, dogs and cheesesteaks from its boardwalk location at 900 Ocean Avenue.

Eddie Confetti’s

For the sweet side of the boardwalk: hand-scooped ice cream, milkshakes, slushies, smoothies and coffee at 1100 North Ocean Avenue.
