Fall brings a different kind of energy to Asbury Park. The crowds of summer may have eased, but the waterfront is still full of reasons to get out, explore, and enjoy the season. From shopping with local artists to gathering beneath the full moon, there are plenty of ways to experience the city this October.

If you’re looking for an excuse to plan a fall outing, here are a few happenings to add to your calendar.

1. Shop Small at the Asbury Park Fall Bazaar

When: October 24–25, 2026 | 12–5 PM

Where: Grand Arcade at Convention Hall (1300 Ocean Ave N)

Fall shopping gets a local twist at the Asbury Park Fall Bazaar, returning to the historic Grand Arcade at Convention Hall for a weekend celebrating independent artists and small businesses.

With more than 30 local artists and small businesses featured each day, you can browse an eclectic mix of handmade goods, art, home décor, jewelry, accessories, vintage finds, candles, specialty foods, and sweet treats. There will also be music, entertainment, kids’ activities, and plenty of opportunities to discover something unexpected.

Best of all, admission is free, and the indoor event is both family- and pet-friendly. Whether you’re searching for a unique gift, looking to support local businesses, or simply want to spend an afternoon exploring, the Fall Bazaar offers a fun way to enjoy Asbury Park in autumn.

2. Welcome the Hunter’s Moon at The Asbury

When: Monday, October 26, 2026 | 7–10 PM

Where: The Asbury Pool & Rooftop at The Asbury Hotel (210 5th Ave)

Looking for a fall evening with a little magic? Head to The Asbury for a Full Moon Party led by Sarah Potter, a professional witch, tarot reader, and psychic medium known for her immersive spiritual experiences and guided rituals.

This month’s gathering celebrates the Hunter’s Moon in Taurus, with a theme of “Golden Abundance.” The evening invites guests to reflect on what they’ve accomplished, practice gratitude, and set intentions for the months ahead. Through guided meditation and communal spellwork, participants can explore themes of abundance, confidence, and letting go of habits that no longer serve them.

Taking place poolside beneath the autumn sky, the event offers a distinctive way to welcome the changing season and experience a different side of Asbury Park’s nightlife.

Whether you’re fueling up before a day of shopping or looking for a tasty stop during your visit, this is a natural addition to a day spent enjoying the local scene.
